What is Fae Awareness Month?

It’s a celebration of those scary, brilliant, and impossible creatures that fall into the category of The Fae. They’re manifest in many ways in different parts of the world, but we humans know them when we see them… provided they want us to. In June, 2011, they joined the ranks of other famous–or is it infamous?–supernaturals in getting their own month full of movies, stories, books, culture, and personal reminiscences. There were essays, reviews, and more than a few warnings — find the 2011 FAM index here. What time could be more appropriate than the one just around the summer solstice?
